Australian Junior Championships

The Tasmanian Chess Association proudly acknowledge the assistance of sponsors to host the 2010 Australian Junior Chess Championships.

Without the help of our major sponsors it would be impossible for a small state organisation like the TCA to host such an event.

This event is one of the most prestigious chess event ever staged in Tasmania and to date 115 interstate players have been attracted to the two weeks of competition with trophies and medals for 48 categories in various chess competitions and different age groups. Entries have certainly exceeded expectations.

The sponsorship from Chesskids and Tasmanian Government (through Events Tasmania) along with assistance of from the Hobart City Council, Ricoh Tasmania and Australian Chess Enterprises will ensure a successful event. Thank you to our sponsors.
