Notice of Annual General Meeting

The AGM of the AusJCL is to be held on Saturday 23rd January 2010, 1:30pm at Hutchins School, Sandy Bay, Hobart.

Nominations for the following council positions must be received by Saturday 16th January, as per the AusJCL constitution:

President
Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
Junior Development Co-ordinator
Events Co-ordinator
Selections administrator
3 ordinary council members

Without the help of our major sponsors it would be impossible for a small state organisation like the TCA to host such an event.

This event is one of the most prestigious chess event ever staged in Tasmania and to date 115 interstate players have been attracted to the two weeks of competition with trophies and medals for 48 categories in various chess competitions and different age groups. Entries have certainly exceeded expectations.
